Repton Parish Council
Broomhills Playing Field is on the edge of the village and is well used by the community. The Iris Bentley Sports Pavilion was built in 1984 with shower and changing rooms, and the games room and kitchen were added around 1990. A car park is adjacent to the pavilion. The field and pavilion are used by the surrounding area for sporting and recreation activities, including table tennis, cricket and football, and are available for events and wedding receptions. The football is well established with teams for all ages from primary school upwards. Matches are played against other local groups every weekend and there are ball skills sessions. Table tennis evenings are a new venture with 2 tables in use, open to young people in the village and beyond. A Youth Group is at the planning stage which will use the Pavilion and playing fields on a regular basis.
