Leighton-Linslade Town Council
Mentmore Park and Memorial Gardens has multiple uses. It has something for all ages - for the young there is a toddler play site, for the sporty there is bowls, cricket and tennis played, for the active there is considerable space for spontaneous sport and for those without a garden there are well maintained shrub beds within the Memorial Gardens.
Mentmore Park and Memorial Gardens is also home to The Linslade War Memorial commemorating those that fell during both World Wars. It was originally located at the junction of Old Road, Leighton Road and Wing Road in Linslade. However, the memorial was moved in 1955 to its current location of the Memorial Gardens, Mentmore Road.
