Good luck to our members of #teamFIT who are taking on the Prudential RideLondon this Sunday, raising money to help protect and improve parks and playing fields across the UK.
Fields in Trust have nine riders taking part in this years event, each of whom will be wearing our white Fields in Trust cycling jerseys to help you spot them out on the route.
As members of our team are Seb Kirk and Jamie Goodman, pictured above left on a training ride and taking part as the Howard Heroes, who have been best friends for almost 26 years. They have fond memories of playing football at with friends and family over the years at their two local parks, Cock Lane Recreation Ground in Fetcham and King George V Playing Field in Effingham, both of which are protected with Fields in Trust.
Seb and Jamie aren't the only group of friends taking on the challenge, however, with Alastair Qualtrough, Tim Walker, Tom Irwin and Jon Stagg participating as Team 40ish.
Michael Cloke, Laura Addie and Stephen Honey complete the #teamFIT members taking part in the 100 mile cycle ride from Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park through to the Surrey Hills and back to The Mall by Buckingham Palace.
If you're heading out to cheer on the riders this Sunday then why not watch the race from a Fields in Trust protected site. Tower Hill Garden in central London, Pyrford Cricket Ground and Byfleet Playground near Woking and Shere Recreation Ground near Guildford are all on the route the riders will be taking.
