His Royal Highness The Duke of Cambridge visited Kensington Memorial Park in The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea to formally unveil a Centenary Fields plaque, protecting the site in perpetuity to honour the memory of the millions of people who lost their lives during World War I.
During his visit The Duke took part in a 'show and tell' session on remembrance with children from Barlby Primary School, spoke to young footballers following a training session run by Kensington Dragons FC, met parents and children from the park's Stay & Play club and planted poppies in the park's memorial garden with children from St Charles Catholic Primary School.
