You can support the work of Fields in Trust by joining our team of runners or cyclists on a challenge event. When you sign up to take part in an event for Fields in Trust we'll support you all the way with tips, advice and your own personalised running vest or cycling jersey. Find out more about the events we have charity places in below, or if you'd like to take part in an event not listed then please just get in touch.
Each year Fields in Trust has charity places available in the Virgin Money London Marathon. We ask each of our runners to pay a registration fee of £50 and work towards a target of £1,800. As a Fields in Trust runner, our team is here to support you every step of the way with a fundraising pack, training tips and lots of personal support. In previous years, members of our team have had the opportunity to take part in a training day at Twickenham and all of our runners have been invited to post-race receptions close to the finish line with showers and massages.
Last year, Lee from our partner organisation Our Parks ran with one of their participants, Susan, who had started running less than a year before the marathon and did brilliantly! If the marathon is on your bucket list and you love getting out and active on your local green space then why not sign up to run for Fields in Trust and fundraise towards our work protecting, supporting and championing Green Spaces for Good.

"The London Marathon for me was the ultimate challenge... I am still on cloud nine and would encourage everyone to take on the challenge... and raise money for Fields in Trust where every penny you earn makes a huge difference. Would I run it again? Absolutely, YES!"
Jo Saunders, Fields in Trust London Marathon runner
