Where green spaces are bordered by houses there can occasionally be boundary disputes. We don’t share protection documents with anyone other than the landowner so if you want to see a copy you will need to approach them. We can’t get involved in boundary disputes and as land registry plans are not 100% accurate in terms of showing the boundaries it may be that a land surveyor needs to be engaged to help resolve a case of alleged encroachment for example.
In some cases spaces are not protected in their entirety, for example, a facility leased to a sports club may be excluded from the dedicated area, as could a piece of land with a phone mast on or a utility sub-station. If this is the case then Fields in Trust have no jurisdiction over the land so if you're not happy about something you will need to approach the landowner.
