Ballyclare War Memorial Park is a peaceful site on the edge of Ballyclare, adjacent to the local leisure centre and linked to the town’s main shopping area by a bridge. The space includes planting, kick-around areas, pathways and a play area.
Within the park is an obelisk memorial to those from Ballyclare who were killed or missing in the two World Wars. The obelisk is set on a plinth and tapered base with three stones of remembrance to the rear whilst wrought iron gates at the entrance to the park are inscribed to signify its status as a memorial area.
