Centenary Paddock is adjacent to the graveyard of St Andrew’s Church as well as the town’s war memorial which was unveiled by HRH The Duke of York in 1921 and lists the names of 47 local men who fell during World War I.
The space is well used by a variety of local groups for activities including fetes and fun days. It was purchased by Countesthorpe Parish Council to mark the centenary of World War I and memorial seating was installed as part of the commemorations.
