This is a Green Flag Park which is situated within the Market Town of Todmorden. The park features memorial gardens, an animal house, pitch & putt, all weather 5-a-side football, crazy golf, under 12’s roadway, table tennis, chess board and community room. The Park has been used for public events since 1915, and continues today to be an area used for walking, picnics, family outings and a centre for large scale events, sports and formal recreation. The park is used as the location for the Agricultural Show (one of the largest in the north of England), the town’s carnival, brass band concerts, school educational events and has recently hosted the National Crown Green Bowling Club Championships. To the east of the park the area is designated as Green Belt land (UDP). A wildlife corridor runs the entire length of the park, which gives the park its rich and diverse numbers of flora and fauna.
