Located in Pound Hill, with two access points. The main habitats are broad-leaved woodland which flanks a stream for most of its course, with an extensive flood meadow nearby. Masses of bluebells, lesser celandine, wild daffodils, primrose and wild garlic are some of the flowers to be found in the wood in spring. The bird community includes great spotted woodpecker, nuthatch, tree creeper, garden warbler, chiffchaff and tits. A path follows the course of the Gatwick Stream, which meanders through the wood. The grassy banks of the flood meadow contain plants such as musk mallow, black knapweed and St. John's-wort, whilst ladies' bedstraw, bird's foot trefoil and self heal grow in the meadow itself.
