St Cuthbert's Meadow is part of a larger nature reserve, the remainder of which lies to the east of Rectory Road. It comprises open meadow land to its north and light woodland to its south and also contains a small pool which is part of the stream that runs through the area.
The space is located close to the village war memorial and, in order to commemorate the centenary of the commencement of World War I, a tree was planted in the meadow early in 2014.
