Starbank Park commands dramatic panoramas over the Firth of Forth to Fife and remains a favourite viewpoint close enough to hear the lapping waves. An eight-pointed star with two crescent moons cut into the bank on flanking sides facing out across the Firth of Forth depicts the "Star of the Sea", believed to be symbolic of a ship's compass.
The top and levels part of the gardens around Starbank House provides enormous pleasure, particularly for some of the area's elderly residents. It is laid out formally with shaped rose beds and plenty of park benches.
