Weston Woods is a large woodland space covering the western half of Worlebury Hill ridge with open access for the public. The area protected as a Centenary Field covers nearly ten hectares close to Cliff Road to the west of the space.
Much of the space was clear felled during World War I and the timber was used for shoring up the trenches on the Western Front. The wood has naturally re-vegetated since then. The entire woodland is a Local Nature Reserve (LNR), and part of the area is classed as ancient semi-natural woodland. It is managed by North Somerset Council in line with the UK Woodland Assurance Scheme.
