Zetland Park is a large, urban park which includes range of facilities including tennis courts, bowling green, play area and picnic space. The space was gifted to the town in 1882 by the Third Earl of Zetland and is one of the largest in the Falkirk area.
The war memorial was unveiled in 1919 and takes the form of a plain stone cenotaph surmounted by a British lion pouncing on the German eagle. The cenotaph was designed by Sir John Burnet and the sculpture by Alexander Proudfoot with the memorial remembering those from Grangemouth who have fallen in conflict.
