Abbey Park is the heart of Evesham and it has something for everyone. It has an exciting play area, fun water-play, historical importance and beautiful riverside views.
Northampton, Northamptonshire
An outstanding cultural gem that has kept calm while everything around it changed! Provided generations of families in Northampton with priceless memories and fun. Beautiful and welcoming to all.
Tonbridge and Malling, Kent
Charity, Addington Recreation Ground, is managed, maintained and developed by volunteer community Trustees independently of the public purse. During lockdown the green spaces and facilities were used by families and dogs both locally and from far and wide, including South London.
Station Road, Mintlaw
Aden Country Park has been an amazing space for people to relax and engage with nature over the last few years. Since the lockdown more nature has emerged in the park which visitors love to see when walking in the park.
Cumbernauld Road, Glasgow
For 2 years of lockdown it was my friend and I's sanctuary. It is spotless and so well kept. Even the toilets in lockdown were spotless and the wildlife is great. It has some really nice walks.
Hastings, East Sussex
A beautiful park that has been enjoyed by so many, for over a hundred years. Complete with play area, formal planting to woodland, streams, lakes and reservoirs where freshwater fishing is permitted. A place to watch the seasons change, feed the very tame squirrels and take photographs.
Oldham, Greater Manchester
I love how well taken-care-of the flower beds are. The water areas are always clean. I especially love the lions den as l enjoyed sitting on the lions in my childhood decades ago. I just love my park memories.
Bath, Avon
A dog-friendly community park with a super café run by Tony - he knows everyone and is kind to the elderly or infirm people who come to socialise. He runs events and raises funds for local charities and keeps children and pet-owners entertained. Lovely pond, skatepark and tennis-courts.
Allesley Hall Drive, Coventry
It is easily accessible I use a mobility scooter and live nearby and visit twice a day. The park is immaculately kept and there is something for everyone. Children play area, crazy golf. The dogs enjoy their walks too. It is a wonderful asset to the local area.
Battens Drive, Redditch
I have grown up having the privilege of this stunning park & lake in our beautiful town. It is a place to walk, to breathe deeply and watch the world go by. It is loved by the town and visitors who come in to spend time there enjoying a remarkable space. It's my favourite place!
