Legislators and elected representatives across the UK have committed to champion, support and protect green spaces for good with the Parks Protector Pledge.
Launched to coincide with the 2019 UK General Election , the Parks Protector Pledge is a six point commitment which Peers, elected representatives and those standing for election can take to demonstrate their support for the value of parks and green spaces to their constituents and electors.
The Parks Protector Pledge includes six key points committing signatories to champion, support and protect green spaces for good. It is accompanied by a Pledging to Protect manifesto with more detail on each point.

Spread awareness of the Parks Protector Pledge and if your MP, MSP, MS, London Assembly member or elected Mayor isn't listed as a signatory, get in touch and ask them to support it. The full Pledging to Protect document contains lots of detail to assist you in making your case to your elected representative for why parks matter.
Fields in Trust is an independent charity with over 90 years’ experience protecting parks and green spaces. We work with landowners, community groups and policy makers to champion the value of our parks and green spaces to achieve better protection for their future at both local and national level.
