Policy and advocacy icons

The Fields in Trust team has decades of combined experience advising, developing and leading on policy matters relating to parks and green spaces. With a focus on the links between green space provision and health and wellbeing, planning, infrastructure, the natural environment and play, through our policy and advocacy work we make the case for better protection of green spaces at all levels of local and national government.

Endorsements we have provided include:

  • Parks Charter: we are a founding organisation of the Parks Charter which calls on politicians to take action to save the UK's parks and green spaces.
  • Play Builds Children: the Children's Play Policy Forum's statement draws attention to the responsibility Government has for play and the leadership that is needed.
