This week our Summer of Parks looks at how green spaces are the locations for sporting journeys be they personal or professional.
Parks and green spaces are the starting points for countless sporting journeys. For some they lead to elite sporting success and for others they are personal victories, each as important as all others.
Everyone's sporting journey is different but we can all do our bit both to take our own journey and help others on theirs.
One Small ThingThis week we’re asking you to cast your mind back and think of sporting achievements you made at your local park or green space when you were younger – perhaps it was where you kicked a ball for the first time, picked up a racket or learnt to ride a bike. Let us know your memories on Twitter using #LoveYourLocalPark!
